Erasmus+ KA153-YOU Project Activity Successfully Implemented by SUSE
The KA153-YOU project activity, carried out under the Erasmus+ Programme, was successfully implemented between 13–15 April 2026 in Tilburg, the Netherlands (Eilenbergstraat 7), hosted by Stichting UnitySphere Europe (SUSE).
Organised by SUSE, the activity brought together a delegation of 10 experts from the Ankara Provincial Directorate of the Ministry of Family and Social Services of the Republic of Türkiye and 15 local participants from the Netherlands. The programme provided a valuable platform for international knowledge exchange, sharing of professional experiences, and the exploration of best practices in the field of social services.
📚 Training and Workshop Sessions
During the two-day intensive programme, participants:
- Reviewed current approaches in social services
- Engaged in group work and interactive workshops
- Exchanged institutional knowledge and field-based experiences
The sessions particularly focused on innovative and inclusive practices in social service delivery.
📍 Study Visit – Waalwijk
On the first day of the programme, a study visit was conducted in Waalwijk to IncludieQ, a care organisation providing “dagbesteding” (daytime social support services).
Participants had the opportunity to observe service delivery models on-site and gain insights into support mechanisms for disadvantaged individuals.
🌱 Green Rehabilitation Visit – Schipluiden
On 15 April, participants visited lettuce and eggplant greenhouses in the Schipluiden region. A guided tour (rondleiding) was provided, offering detailed insights into agricultural production processes.
This visit contributed to a better understanding of how agriculture-based rehabilitation practices can be integrated into social service frameworks.
🌍 Strengthening International Cooperation
The activity successfully brought together professionals from different countries, strengthening international cooperation and fostering the exchange of good practices in social services.
Participants are expected to transfer the knowledge and experience gained during the activity to their respective institutions, contributing to improved service quality and impact.
